Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district, took to social media to express his concerns and views on recent national issues. He addressed actions by the Trump Administration, international conflicts, and remarks by Donald Trump, using his platform to communicate his perspectives.

On April 14, 2025, Schiff discussed the ongoing issues faced by educational institutions in California. He stated, "Our schools and students have been targets of the Trump Administration's attacks. Last week, @SenAlexPadilla and I met with CSU education leaders to address these concerns and reinforce our support for California's public universities." This highlights his commitment to supporting educational leaders at California State University in response to actions by the Trump Administration.

Later the same day, Schiff took to Twitter to comment on the situation in Ukraine, where he criticized former President Trump. He noted, "A day after Russia committed war crimes in Ukraine, and Trump is again attacking Zelenskyy – sounding indistinguishable from a commentator on Russian state TV. And repeating the Kremlin lie that Ukraine started this war. Trump casts shame on himself and our country." This tweet addresses his discontent with Trump's stance on the Ukraine crisis.

Schiff further critiqued Trump that day, suggesting an endorsement for impunity following violent acts. He stated, "Donald Trump sent a clear message last week: You can engage in violence, vandalism, you name it. As long as it's done on his behalf, you'll get off scot-free. So much for law and order." This comments on Schiff's perspective regarding Trump's alleged leniency towards criminal activities.

Adam Schiff has been a member of the U.S. Congress since replacing James E. Rogan in 2001. He previously served in the California Senate and was born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960. Now residing in Burbank, Schiff has a background from Stanford University and a JD from Harvard University, underscoring his longstanding service in government since his first election in the 1990s.
