In another post on March 6, 2025, Schiff advocated for federal support for Californians affected by fires. He mentioned collaborating with Senator Alex Padilla to urge FEMA to extend aid deadlines for victims of Los Angeles fires. According to Schiff, "Californians who lost everything deserve every measure of support from the federal government."
