Adam Schiff, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 30th district, recently shared his views on social media regarding various political topics. Schiff, who has been in office since 2001 and previously served in the California Senate, utilized Twitter to express his opinions on issues concerning American identity, international relations, and domestic policies.

In a tweet posted on March 5, 2025, Schiff referenced the iconic words inscribed on the Statue of Liberty to critique recent political discourse in America. He wrote: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” You have to look no further than the pedestal of Lady Liberty to see what defines America. That’s who we are. This speech – and this President – is not who we are.”

Later that day, Schiff commented on international politics with a brief statement concerning Russian President Vladimir Putin. At 03:47:23 UTC, he tweeted: "Vladimir Putin is loving every minute of this." The context of this remark was not elaborated upon in the tweet.

In another post made at 03:55:33 UTC on the same day, Schiff criticized former President Donald Trump for not fulfilling his promises related to economic issues and veteran affairs while accusing him of prioritizing tax cuts for wealthy individuals. He stated: "Trump breaks every promise he makes. He promised to lower the cost of living. He promised to respect our veterans. But there’s one promise you can count on him keeping: Tax cuts for billionaires."
