On February 12, 2025, Adam Schiff tweeted about former President Donald Trump's alleged unlawful dismissal of 19 inspectors general. He stated that "Donald Trump illegally fired 19 inspectors general." He emphasized that the law mandates notifying Congress and providing justification for each case.
