Adam Schiff, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 30th district, has recently expressed concerns on social media regarding significant national issues. Through a series of tweets, Schiff addressed topics ranging from agricultural policies to leadership appointments in federal agencies.

On January 27, 2025, Schiff raised concerns about potential deportations affecting farmworkers and their families. He stated, "I raised this issue last week with the nominee for Agriculture Secretary. This is just what I feared. In addition to the heartbreak of breaking up the families of farmworkers, the threat of mass deportations will inevitably drive up food costs for American families."

The following day, on January 28, 2025, Schiff voiced his disapproval regarding Kash Patel as a candidate for FBI Director. He remarked that Patel was unsuitable for the role due to character concerns and potential bias towards former President Donald Trump. Schiff wrote, "The last person you want as FBI Director is Kash Patel. It’s a position of immense, at times unreviewable, power. And in addition to being dishonest, untrustworthy, and utterly lacking in character – he will do anything in the service of Donald Trump. Anything."

Later that same day, Schiff reiterated his stance on the importance of trustworthiness in critical positions within law enforcement agencies during emergencies by stating: "If you can’t trust the FBI Director in times of emergency, people are going to get hurt."
