On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Sun Valley High School standout Bri Lawson’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Akron Zips.
The game took place at Cyrill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Zips this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 12:10 p.m. at Cyrill Stadium against Bowling Green Falcons.
