The New York Film Academy enrolls 973 undergrads

At the New York Film Academy, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Burbank enrolled 1,389 students in fall 2018, including 973 in undergraduate and 416 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

46 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 10 percent are residents of other states. 43 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (11 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (6 percent).
