On Saturday, March 1, former Providence High School standout Breanna Pelaez’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.

The game took place at Launch Pad Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at JB Chambers I-470 Complex against Wheeling Cardinals.
