On Friday, Feb. 21, former John Burroughs High School standout Gunnar Nichols’ current college team, the Washington Huskies, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stanford Cardinals.

The game took place at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2:05 p.m. at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond against Stanford Cardinals.
