On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Village Christian School standout Emily Zuniga’s current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
The game took place at CSUSM Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at Toro Diamond against Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.
