The City of Burbank has received three distinguished awards in budgeting from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Awarded in Capital Budget Excellence, Operating Budget Excellence, and Distinguished Budget Presentation, Burbank’s longstanding recognition by public finance industry experts represents its commitment to the highest principles of governmental budgeting.
This is the twenty-eighth year that Burbank has received the CSFMO awards for excellence and the thirty-first consecutive year of receiving the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from GFOA.
