On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Sun Valley High School standout Bri Lawson’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the USC Upstate Spartans.
The game took place at Cyrill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Upstate Spartans this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium against Idaho State Bengals.
