On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Sun Valley High School standout Bri Lawson’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.
The game took place at PC Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Youngsville Sports Complex against Houston Christian Huskies.
