Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district since 2001, addressed several topics in recent social media posts, including U.S. military activity near Venezuela, Congressional efforts to release the Epstein Files, and a visit with students from the International School of San Francisco.
On November 18, 2025, Schiff questioned U.S. intentions in Venezuela by stating: “Can we finally acknowledge the obvious, that this is about regime change? The Navy’s largest warship, 15,000 U.S. servicemembers, B-1 and B-52 bomber sorties. All parked off the coast of Venezuela and Trump won’t rule out starting a new war. Time for Congress to step up.”
The following day, on November 19, 2025, Schiff commented on bipartisan support for releasing files related to Jeffrey Epstein: “The bill to release the Epstein Files passed Congress by such an overwhelming and bipartisan vote that Donald Trump will have no choice but to sign it, as he promised. But after months of obstruction, we should know this is unlikely to be the end of the fight for answers.”
Later on November 19, Schiff highlighted an engagement with students: “Great to visit with some our next generation’s brightest minds from the International School of San Francisco. Thanks for coming to the Capitol!”
Schiff has served in Congress since replacing James E. Rogan in 2001 and previously served in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960 and currently residing in Burbank at age 62, Schiff graduated from Stanford University in 1982 and earned a JD from Harvard University in 1985.
