Adam Schiff, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 30th district, has recently shared his views on several pressing political issues via social media. Schiff, who has served in Congress since 2001 and previously in the California Senate, utilized Twitter to address concerns regarding national security and international relations.

On February 12, 2025, Adam Schiff questioned the judgment of voting against Tulsi Gabbard with respect to safeguarding classified materials and intelligence professionals. He tweeted: “Do we possess the basic common sense — for the sake of our country, our most classified materials, and our intelligence professionals — to vote down Tulsi Gabbard? We will soon find out.”

Later that day, Schiff expressed his concern over President Trump’s communication priorities and foreign policy decisions. He stated: “Today, President Trump called our enemy, Russia, before calling our ally, Ukraine. Meanwhile, his Secretary of Defense ruled out a future for Ukraine in NATO and a restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty over its own lands. Let’s not mince words about what this represents: a…” This comment highlighted Schiff’s apprehension about U.S.-Russia relations under the current administration.

In another tweet posted on February 12th, Schiff discussed an interaction with Todd Blanche, Donald Trump’s personal defense lawyer and nominee for Deputy Attorney General. Schiff wrote: “I asked Todd Blanche – Donald Trump’s personal defense lawyer and nominee for Deputy Attorney General – whether he’d commit to preserving evidence in the January 6 and Mar-a-Lago investigations. He could not say yes.” This tweet reflects Schiff’s concerns about accountability in ongoing investigations related to significant national events.
