Adam Schiff, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 30th district, has recently addressed several pressing issues through his social media platform. On February 8, 2025, he posted a series of tweets discussing topics ranging from water management to corporate oversight.
In a tweet dated February 8, 2025, Schiff expressed concern over the release of large quantities of water from the Terminus and Schafer Dams. He stated: “The reckless decision to release billions of gallons of water from the Terminus and Schafer Dams is already hurting farms and farmers. It’s a massive waste. I’m demanding answers from the Army Corps of Engineers about what happened. And why.”
Later that day, Schiff acknowledged positive reminders amidst challenges by tweeting: “Thank you for reminding us that there’s lots of good in the world, Claire. We needed it.” The post was shared on February 8, 2025.
In another tweet on February 8, 2025, Schiff criticized Elon Musk’s stance on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). He wrote: “Elon Musk wants to shutter the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an agency that oversees corporate malfeasance and efforts to rip off consumers. As the CEO of some of America’s largest corporations, Musk wants to give corporate America a license to steal … from you.”
