Adam Schiff, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 30th district, has recently expressed his views on various legislative and political matters through a series of tweets. Schiff, who has been in office since 2001, replaced James E. Rogan and previously served in the California Senate. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, he is an alumnus of Stanford University and Harvard University.

On November 21, 2024, Schiff shared his decision to vote against H.R. 9495. He stated: “I’ve just voted against H.R. 9495.” While he supports provisions for postponing tax deadlines for Americans wrongfully detained abroad and targeting organizations supporting terrorism, he expressed concerns related to Donald Trump.

Later that day, Schiff commented on Matt Gaetz’s withdrawal from consideration as Attorney General: “Glad to see that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn from consideration as Attorney General.” He criticized Gaetz as a poor choice for the role and emphasized the need for a nominee committed to the American people and the Rule of Law rather than partisan interests.

On November 22, 2024, Schiff addressed issues of delayed justice with a succinct tweet: “If anyone ever wanted to see what ‘justice delayed is justice denied’ looks like in legal form, this is it:” highlighting ongoing concerns about legal proceedings.
