Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district since 2001, has posted a series of statements on his social media account criticizing former President Donald Trump and raising questions about the actions of the Trump administration.
On November 12, 2025, Schiff wrote, “.@realDonaldTrump said prices were going down under his watch. That’s a lie. Even Fox has some updated stats for him. Trump needs to spend less time on the golf course and on plans for the ballroom, and more time trying to live up to his promises.”
Later that day, he commented on efforts to address what he described as misconduct by the previous administration: “Holding the Trump administration accountable for its flagrant lawlessness may not always happen immediately. But through litigation and oversight, it is still possible. We must not let up.”
In another post from November 12, Schiff questioned potential connections between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein: “Is this why Pam Bondi warned Donald Trump that he was in the Epstein files? Or is there more?”
Schiff has represented California’s 30th District in Congress since replacing James E. Rogan in 2001 and previously served in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960, Schiff is currently based in Burbank. He holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University (JD).
