U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff, representing California’s 30th District, has recently made a series of remarks on social media regarding current economic issues and political priorities. Mr. Schiff, who has been serving since 2001 and previously served in the California Senate, often shares his thoughts on political developments and constituents’ concerns. Below are selected excerpts from his latest tweets.
On March 28, 2025, Adam Schiff expressed concerns over economic issues, stating that “Prices are soaring, your 401k is in the tank, Social Security phone lines are hours long.” He criticized the current administration for its international focus, remarking, “Instead of addressing any of that – this administration is picking a fight with Denmark.”
The following day on March 29, 2025, Schiff posted about a meeting he had with fellow Californians in Washington, D.C., along with Senator Alex Padilla, noting that they “caught up with Californians in D.C. to hear more about the issues affecting all of us.“
On March 30, 2025, Mr. Schiff again commented on economic struggles, listing issues such as rising prices, a falling market, and challenges to social welfare programs. His critique was also directed towards former President Donald Trump, alleging that “Donald Trump has broken every campaign promise he made – except one.” He indicated the exception was, “Tax cuts for billionaires. Arriving right on schedule.”
