Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district and a former California state senator, posted a series of tweets on July 24, 2025, criticizing actions by the current administration and the Republican Party.
In his first post on July 24 at 01:41 UTC, Schiff stated: “Emil Bove has been at the center of some of this administration’s worst abuses. Tonight, I took to the Senate floor to outline just a few. Here’s what I said: https://t.co/sUtxufFDKm”.
Later that day at 15:53 UTC, Schiff commented on alleged inconsistencies in Republican messaging regarding censorship: “For the party which claimed that cancel culture and censorship were plaguing our nation, they sure do love to cancel and censor anything Donald Trump doesn’t like or want to hear… https://t.co/l5zKdM1pIS”.
In a subsequent tweet at 17:45 UTC, he wrote: “Exactly. The cover-up is clear as day. And the American people see right through it. https://t.co/pOYE68kiGW”.
Schiff has represented California’s 30th district in Congress since 2001 after succeeding James E. Rogan. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960 and currently residing in Burbank, Schiff holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University (JD).
