On February 9, 2025, Schiff expressed his views on the importance of adhering to court decisions regardless of personal opinions. He stated, “JD, we both went to law school. But we don’t have to be lawyers to know that ignoring court decisions we don’t like puts us on a dangerous path to lawlessness. We just have to swear an oath the constitution. And mean it.”
The following day, February 10, 2025, Schiff addressed global political challenges by highlighting the increase in transnational repression. Cut funding for cancer research. Need a few extra bucks for a corporate cash grab? Cut Special Education. Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s last few weeks aren’t hard to understand. Just follow the money.”
