Schiff has represented California’s 30th District since replacing James E. Rogan in 2001 and previously served in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960, Schiff is now based in Burbank at age 62. His educational background includes a BA from Stanford University (1982) and a JD from Harvard University (1985).
