Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district, used his social media platform on April 19 and 20, 2026, to highlight environmental and international human rights concerns.
On April 19, Schiff addressed the ongoing climate crisis, urging federal action. He wrote, “With the ever-worsening climate crisis, @EPA must take direct action to mitigate the climate risks on Superfund sites across the state and country. On April 20, Schiff turned attention to international issues involving Armenia. He stated, “Armenians do not waver in speaking truth to power and in fighting for justice. Schiff has represented California’s 30th district in Congress since 2001 after previously serving in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. He was born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960 and currently resides in Burbank. Schiff holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University (JD).
