Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district since 2001, posted a series of statements on November 6, 2025, addressing U.S. foreign policy and domestic politics.
In his first post on November 6, Schiff warned about possible military intervention in Venezuela: “The Trump admin is laying the groundwork for potential military action inside Venezuela. Tomorrow, on a bipartisan basis, we will force a vote to block this unauthorized use of military force. Congress must assert its authority to stop America from being dragged into a new” (posted at 02:11 UTC).
Later that day, Schiff criticized former President Donald Trump’s recent media appearance: “Donald Trump gave 60 Minutes worth of lies last weekend. Let’s break down his top ten lies about prices, tariffs, and his recording-breaking shutdown.” (posted at 03:30 UTC).
In another message posted at 14:38 UTC on the same day, Schiff praised Nancy Pelosi’s leadership in Congress: “Nancy Pelosi will be recorded as the greatest Speaker in American history, the result of her tenacity, intellect, strategic acumen and fierce advocacy. She has been an indelible part of every major progressive accomplishment in the 21st century — her work in Congress delivered”.
Schiff has served as a member of Congress for over two decades after replacing James E. Rogan in California’s 30th district in 2001. Before his tenure in the House of Representatives, he served in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960 and currently residing in Burbank at age 62, Schiff holds degrees from Stanford University and Harvard Law School.
