Adam Schiff, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district, recently shared his concerns and insights on social media regarding federal actions and immigration policies. Serving in Congress since 2001, Schiff has been vocal about issues affecting his constituents and the broader community.
On July 8, 2025, Schiff criticized federal law enforcement tactics in Los Angeles. He stated that “Storming MacArthur Park with heavily armed federal agents may instill fear in our communities, but it does very little to make us more safe.” He called for an end to what he described as “indiscriminate and deliberately provocative raids.”
Later that day, Schiff addressed the impact of immigration policies on agriculture. He tweeted that “Trump’s immigration raids are hurting farmers and farmworkers alike.” He noted that he had visited farms across the state to understand how these actions might affect food prices.
In a subsequent post on the same day, Schiff provided a link for further information, inviting followers to “Learn more here.”
