Adam Schiff, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 30th district since 2001, has posted a series of tweets addressing recent political tensions involving former President Donald Trump and the ongoing demand for transparency regarding the Epstein files.
On July 15, 2025, Schiff wrote: “Donald Trump is calling for me to be criminally prosecuted. It’s nothing new – but his attacks on the rule of law are more dangerous than ever.”
The following day, July 16, Schiff shared a tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/EQLmLRhARu”.
On July 17, he posted another message directed at Trump: “What are you hiding, Donald? Time to release the Epstein files.”
Schiff has represented California’s 30th district in Congress since replacing James E. Rogan in 2001. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the California Senate from 1996 to 2000. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1960 and currently residing in Burbank at age 62, Schiff holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Harvard University (JD).
